- A mystery and urban fantasy series in one. I plan to buy the first in this series which came out a year ago.

- An excellent series. I like the alternate reality world she has created and look forward to this book.

- 3rd in series
- Fantasy set in Regency England
- Paperback for sale February 5
- A vampire hunter having to abide by the rules of Regency England! I like this series and this should be a great addition.
Demon Night- By Meljean Brook
- 5th in The Guardians fantasy romance series
- Paperback for sale February 5
- The story of Charlie Newcomb and Drifter, the Guardian and former outlaw met briefly in Demon Moon. These books are intense and filled with action and romance.
Victory Conditions - By Elizabeth Moon
- 5th in Vatta’s War science fiction series
- Hardcover for sale February 19
- I have been reading Elizabeth Moon’s science fiction books for at least 20 years. She writes mainly military science fiction with lots of action, many characters, and lots of different threads. Can’t wait for this one!
Dead to Me - By Anton Strout
- New urban fantasy series
- Paperback for sale February 26
- A new author…sounds like an interesting new series. Charlaine Harris and other fantasy authors I enjoy have given him good quotes so I’m planning to try this author.
Howling at the Moon- By Karen MacInerney
- Tales of an Urban Werewolf, Book 1
- Paperback for sale February 26
- A new-to-me author (she also writes mysteries). I really like werewolf books and the synopsis sounds good so this is on my buy list.
The Outlaw Demon Wails- By Kim Harrison
- Rachel Morgan, Book 6
- Urban fantasy which takes place in Cincinnati, Ohio
- Hardcover for sale February 26
- I’m a book or two behind in this series, but I enjoy these books. I like the world building in these books. I’ll buy this book and immerse myself in Rachel Morgan’s world again.

What is a Jumper?
I am not entirely sure what a “jumper” is. According to Ann Aguirre’s website a jumper is someone who has the ability to jump ships through grimspace (not sure what gimspace is either!) The book sounds very good and I look forward to finding out these things.
