The Ann Aguirre blog has a contest which is a lot of fun. I took the quiz at that site and it turns out I should be a doctor in space–maybe like Dr. Beverly Crusher on Star Trek Next Generation! Check out the prizes on her blog–they are pretty awesome.

The Dear Author blog is also having a contest giving away 20 Advanced Reading Copies of Grimspace by Ann Aguirre. They also have a review for the book and gave it an A-.
Grimspace is listed in my post for the books I’m looking forward to in February: Forthcoming Books–February. I hope it sells well. It sounds like the kind of book I really enjoy and I’m definitely looking forward to February 26th when the book will be in bookstores.
I took the quiz and got the result that I should be a “comm officer” (not quite how I imagined myself, i.e., Captain of the ship!)
Two comments. I took quite a while for the quiz to load and I almost closed the page (since I don’t like to wait for pages to load). I’d also recommend not putting the quiz at the beginning of the post since it look like a link to an ad. I suggest that you tell me and other readers about the contest first and then put the link.
I moved the quiz down on my post a bit so it shows up later. Hopefully, that will work better. As far as loading slowly–I don’t know what to do about that. Thanks for taking the quiz. I’m sure you will be a good comm officer–and you may make it to captain through that route!
