We have some overlap - I want the Eloisa James (love her!) and am thinking about the Tanya Huff. Not sure if I’ll shell out for the hardcover though.
I’m weaning myself off Rachel Caine - while I love her writing, I hate the cliffhanger endings of her books. So I’ve stopped the Morganville series, though I haven’t quite managed to stop reading the Weather Wardens series yet!
“Murder on Bank Street” sounds interesting - would you rec the series? I’m always looking for new mysteries.
The series by Victoria Thompson (Murder on Bank Street) is great. I read all the books in the series last year and really enjoyed all of them. Sarah Brandt and Frank Malloy are both interesting characters and I enjoy how they interact with other characters and each other. It is an interesting time period in New York City as well.
I laughed when I read your comments about Rachel Caine. I don’t like the cliff hangers either. I haven’t kept up with the Weather Warden books, but am still engrossed in the Morganville series!
Thanks for your comments. We do like many of the same books, I think.
